Here at Gelflex Laboratories our focus is on Quality, Design and Service.

We believe these key values set us apart from other manufactures.

Where many Laboratories shy away from the difficult lenses.

We don’t, in fact we specialise in custom lenses whether a bi-toric or that soft toric with a high cylinder or maybe you were thinking of a bifocal lens for your patient.

Well that’s OK we make bifocals in a Soft lens design(The TRITON) and in

a RGP lens design (The Gelflex Linear plus).

Do you have a keratoconic patient that’s OK we can cater for that person too.

Maybe your just after some standard soft sphere’s for daily wear or some

Disposable lenses that’s no problem either.

Gelflex Announces Receipt of CE Mark.

Gelflex Laboratories announced today that it has received the CE Mark for its range of Soft Contact Lenses. From a marketing perspective, the CE Mark is the European equivalent to an FDA approval, in that it allows the Company to sell its Soft Contact Lenses throughout the European Community. Gelflex Laboratories has already achieved ISO 9001:2000 and EN 46001 certifications.

Don Ezekiel AM, CEO of Gelflex Laboratories commented, "Meeting the rigorous standards of the CE Mark for our Soft Contact Lenses is a critical milestone in our effort to expand world-wide sales of our contact lens products. With the ISO 9001:2000 and EN 46001 certifications already in place, the CE Mark was the only credential remaining to bring us into compliance with all applicable harmonized EU standards. This is a monumental accomplishment for Gelflex Laboratories, and reflects the company’s great commitment to standards of excellence and to quality products. Many companies struggle to obtain the CE Mark on comparatively simple products. The manufacture of Soft Contact Lenses is a very complex and sophisticated procedure. After years of research, development and clinical studies, we are now pleased to offer the European community our range of Soft Contact Lenses"

Gelflex Laboratories has been accredited with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard by SAI Global Quality Assurance Services.

ISO 9001:2000 Certification
To ensure we have the processes in place to meet and exceed your expectations of our product and service quality, Gelflex Laboratories is committed to maintaining and expanding our ISO 9000 certification. The ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard is intended to increase confidence in product quality and facilitate trade across international boundaries. This latest standard revision provides a more encompassing system than previously offered in the 1994 version. ISO 9001:2000 requirements state that an organization must strive for customer satisfaction and the continual improvement of its products and services. The International Organization for Standardization is the global standards body that created ISO certification.

The main differences between ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:1994 are as follows:
