| The "HARMONY" (filofocon
A) is a fluro-silicon-acrylate rigid gas permeable lens material
with a hydrolysable surface. The material contains a reactive
monomer that hydrolyzes in solution to create a hydrophilic
surface - just like a soft lens. No special acid or chemical
bath treatment is needed. Overnight soaking in solution, or
any aqueous medium, is all that is necessary. The interior of
the lens remains reactive so that the hydrophilic surface can
regenerate in water if the surface is scratched or abraded. |

| Varichrome Plus |
Varichrome Plus is a rigid gas
permeable lens that incorporates a photochromic spiro compound
within the polymer matrix. The polymer density is carefully
controlled to accommodate the conformational shift. The Lenses
absorb all ultraviolet light and some blue light up to 430nm
which effectively reduces glare and improves clarity of vision.
